FAQs of Sidify Music Converter for Windows

Sidify Music Converter is designed to convert Spotify songs, playlists, podcasts, and radio content to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, or ALAC.

It supports Spotify Lossless conversion and conversion speeds of up to 40X. Sidify can also retain and edit ID3 tags, burn converted Spotify music to a CD, and export music to iTunes.

[1] Launch Sidify and click the registration key icon to open the registration window.

[2] Enter the email address and registration code included in your order confirmation email, and then click Register.

[1] Make sure you have downloaded and installed the correct Sidify product.

[2] Check whether any extra spaces were added before or after your email address or registration code. We recommend copying and pasting the registration information directly from your order confirmation email.

[3] One registration code can be used on one device at a time. If it has already been activated on another device, sign out or deactivate the previous device before trying again.

This is a limitation of the free trial version. To remove the restriction and convert complete tracks, please purchase a license.

Sidify Music Converter supports converting Spotify songs, playlists, albums, podcasts, audiobooks, and radios to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, or ALAC. It also supports Spotify music videos and podcast videos to MP4.

Intelligent Mode: Intelligent Mode automatically selects the most suitable conversion method for the selected content.

Record Mode: Songs are recorded through the Spotify desktop application to provide the highest available audio quality.

YouTube Mode: Music is downloaded through YouTube Download Mode at a faster speed.

Yes. Sidify Music Converter supports Spotify Lossless audio. It allows you to convert Spotify tracks, albums, and playlists to lossless FLAC while retaining available ID3 tags and lyrics.

To convert Spotify Lossless audio, make sure the following conditions are met:

[1] You must have a Spotify Premium account. In Spotify, click your profile picture, open Settings, and select Lossless as the streaming quality.

[2] In Sidify, select Spotify App Mode, add music to the program, and choose Recommended as the output format.

Yes. You can convert all the songs in a Spotify playlist in one batch by dragging and dropping the playlist from Spotify into Sidify.

[1] Launch Sidify and click Settings in the upper-right corner.

[2] Under Output Organized, select one of the following options:

Artist / Album / Playlist / Genre / Year / Disc Number / None

To help protect your Spotify account, use your account normally, avoid sharing your login information or using untrusted third-party tools, and select 1X Conversion Speed for real-time recording instead of high-speed conversion. For added peace of mind, you can also regularly back up your Spotify playlists and saved music in case your account becomes inaccessible. To create a backup, see How to Back Up Spotify Playlists.

If you encounter a problem that cannot be solved using the solutions above, please try the following steps first:

1. Update or reinstall the latest version

In the program, go to Menu > Check for updates to check for the latest version. You can also download the latest version from the Download page on our website: https://www.sidify.com/download-center.html.

2. Switch the conversion mode

Try switching between the available App/Web conversion modes and then try the conversion again.

3. Clear the program cache

For a basic cache cleanup, go to Menu > Clear Caches in the program.

If the problem persists, you can perform a complete cache cleanup on Windows:

[1] Open the following folder: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\

[2] Find the folder for the corresponding program, such as Sidify Spotify Converter.

[3] Delete the program folder.

[4] Restart the program and try again.

4. Check your account status

Make sure that you can log in to your Spotify account normally through an external web browser. If you are using Spotify, please also make sure that your subscription is active.

5. Check your IP address and regional restrictions

If you are using a VPN, try turning it off or switching to another server, and then try again.

6. Contact our technical support team

If the problem still cannot be resolved, click Feedback in the lower-left corner of the program to contact our support team at support@sidify.com.
