FAQs of Sidify Music Converter for Mac

Follow these steps:

[1] Launch Sidify Music Converter.

[2] From the menu bar, select Sidify Music Converter > Registration. You can also click the Unregistered icon in Sidify.

[3] Enter the email address and registration code included in your order confirmation email.

[4] Click OK to activate the program.

We recommend copying and pasting the registration information directly from the email.

Please check the following:

[1] Make sure you have downloaded and installed the correct Sidify product.

[2] Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after your registration email or code.

[3] Copy and paste the registration information instead of entering it manually.

[4] Confirm that you are using the email address associated with your order.

[5] One registration code can be used on one device at a time. If it has already been activated on another device, sign out or deactivate the previous device before trying again.

If the code is still not accepted, contact our support team at support@sidify.com.

Please include your order information and a screenshot of the error message.

This is a limitation of the free trial version.

The trial version allows you to convert the first minute of each track so that you can test the program before purchasing.

To remove this limitation and convert complete tracks, purchase a license and register Sidify using your registration email and code.

Sidify Music Converter for Mac supports converting Spotify music, Spotify Music Videos, and Podcast Videos to the following formats:

MP3 / AAC / WAV / FLAC / AIFF / ALAC / MP4 (Spotify Music Videos and Podcast Videos)

The available audio quality may vary depending on the selected conversion mode, output format, and source quality.

Intelligent Mode

Intelligent Mode automatically selects a suitable conversion method for the selected content.

Record Mode

Spotify Record Mode records audio through the Spotify desktop application. Use this mode when audio quality and conversion stability are your main priorities.

YouTube Mode

YouTube Mode searches for and downloads matching audio from YouTube. It generally provides the fastest conversion speed, but the result depends on whether a suitable match is available.

To download Spotify Lossless audio:

[1] Sign in to a Spotify Premium account.

[2] In Spotify, click your profile picture and open Settings.

[3] Find Streaming Quality and select Lossless.

[4] Launch Sidify Music Converter.

[5] Select Spotify App Mode.

[6] Add the Spotify music you want to convert.

[7] Select Recommended as the output format.

[8] Click Convert.

The final output quality depends on the quality provided by Spotify and the settings selected in Sidify.

Yes. You can add and convert an entire Spotify playlist in one batch.

Open the playlist in Spotify, and then drag and drop it into Sidify. Sidify will load the available tracks and allow you to select the songs you want to convert.

Launch Sidify and click Settings in the upper-right corner.

Under Output Organized, select one of the following folder structures:

Artist/Album, Artist, Album, Album/Artist, Playlist, Genre, Year, Disc Number, or None.

For example, selecting Artist/Album will save each track inside its artist and album folders.

Select Spotify Web Player as the conversion source. You do not need to enable Safety Control to convert at up to 40X speed.

If Safety Control is enabled, the conversion speed is limited to 1X. Disable it when you want to use 40X speed.

Yes. This prompt is expected when Sidify runs on a Mac with Apple silicon.

nativeBridgeHelper requests authorization from macOS so that the required Sidify component can run correctly.

Enter your Mac username and login password when prompted.

This authorization is normally required only once. Your password is processed by macOS for system authorization and is not stored or transmitted by Sidify.

If you encounter a problem that cannot be solved using the solutions above, please try the following steps first:

[1] Update or reinstall the latest version

In the program, go to Menu > Check for updates to check for the latest version. You can also download the latest version from the Download page on our website: https://www.sidify.com/download-center.html.

[2] Switch the conversion mode

Try switching between the available App/Web conversion modes and then try the conversion again.

[3] Clear the program cache

For a basic cache cleanup, go to Menu > Clear Caches in the program.

If the problem persists, open Finder and select Go > Go to Folder, then enter ~/Library/Application Support/. Find the corresponding Sidify program folder, delete it, and restart the program.

[4] Check your account status

Make sure that you can log in to your Spotify account normally through an external web browser. If you are using Spotify Premium, please also make sure that your subscription is active.

[5] Check your IP address and regional restrictions

If you are using a VPN, try turning it off or switching to another server, and then try again.

[6] Contact our technical support team

If the problem still cannot be resolved, click Feedback in the lower-left corner of the program to contact our support team at support@sidify.com.
