01 How to Register Sidify Music Converter for Mac

After purchasing Sidify Music Converter, you will receive a registration email address and license code in your order confirmation email.

Step 1 Open the registration window

Open Sidify and click the Register icon in the lower-left corner.

Step 2 Enter your registration information

Copy (press Command + C) and paste (press Command + V) the registration email address and license code from your order confirmation, then click Register. You can now convert full-length tracks.

Registration Failed?
  • Copy the license information exactly. It is case-sensitive.
  • Remove any spaces before or after the email address and license code.
  • Make sure you purchased the Mac version and installed the correct product.

03How to Convert Spotify Music to MP3

Step 1 Select Spotify App or Web Player Mode

Download and install the latest version of Sidify Music Converter for Mac. When the installation is complete, open the program and choose to convert Spotify songs from the Spotify App or web player.

Recommended for Mac users: Spotify Web Player Mode supports conversion speeds of up to 40X. (App Mode Vs. Webplayer Mode)

Select Spotify App or Web Player Mode

Once Web Player Mode is selected, Sidify will load the Spotify web player within the program. Simply sign in to your Spotify account (Free or Premium) and start accessing your playlists and tracks.

Sidify only uses your Spotify account to process the music you choose to convert. Your account details and other personal data will not be accessed or stored.

Step 2 Add Spotify Music to Sidify

Sidify supports batch downloading Spotify songs, albums, playlists, podcasts, and radio shows. Open the content you want in Spotify, click the Click to Add button, then select the items and click Add:

Step 3 Choose the Output Settings

Click Settings in the lower-left corner. You can choose the output format (MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF, or ALAC), audio quality, output folder, file naming and organization, and whether to save lyrics.

Tips: To keep the original playlist order, add Playlist Index to the file name and set Output Organized to None.

Step 4 Start to Convert Spotify to MP3

Review the selected tracks and click Convert. Sidify will display the progress and status of each track. Keep the program open until the conversion is complete.

Step 5 Find the Converted Spotify Files

Open History and click the folder icon next to a track to view it in Finder. You can then play the MP3s, copy them to a USB drive, or transfer them to MP3 players and other devices.

  1. Choose Web Player Mode and open a music video or video podcast.
  2. Click Add and select the video. For music videos, enable Also download the music video if provided.
  3. Set Conversion Mode to Record Mode, then click Convert.
  4. Open History to find the downloaded MP4 file.

05How to Burn Spotify Music to CD

The free Burn CD feature lets you burn converted Spotify songs or other local audio files to a CD for playback in a car, home stereo, or other CD-compatible device.

  • Insert a blank CD into your computer.
  • Open Sidify and go to Tools > Burn CD.
  • Add converted Spotify songs or other local audio files.
  • Arrange the tracks, name the disc, and adjust the gap between songs if needed.
  • Click Burn to start.

06How to Transfer Spotify Music to the Music App

Sidify lets you export converted Spotify songs directly to the Music app on your Mac for easier backup, management, syncing, and playback.

  1. Go to History.
  2. Select the songs you want to transfer and click Export to Music.
  3. Name the playlist and click Start Exporting.

Note: On older macOS versions that still use iTunes, the option may appear as Export to iTunes.
