1. How to register Sidify YouTube Music Converter for Windows & Mac?

Launch Sidify YouTube Music Converter. Click the "Key" icon or click the "Menu" icon on the upper right and then select "Register". There will be a registration pop-up dialog where you can copy and paste your registration e-mail and license code to get the program registered.


2. Why am I getting "Invalid Code"?

There are two possible causes for invalid code.

[1]The registration code doesn't match the program. Please make sure you are running the right program.

[2]Extra spaces are accidentally added while filling in your e-mail and code. Please check whether there are spaces before or after the registration info.

If you still get the Error Message, please contact our support team via support@sidify.com for help.


3. Why am I limited to convert the first minute of each audio file?

It's the limitation of free trial version. To unlock the restriction, please purchase a license.


4. The subscription has been renewed. Why does it still prompt that my registration code is invalid?

In general, the new license key will be sent to the email address once the subscription is renewed. If you do not receive the license key after auto-renewal subscription, please check your Spam E-mail folder just in case it was incorrectly classified as spam. And you can provide registered email address and order ID to our support team via support@sidify.com We will reply to your message within 24 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends. And we will send you the newly updated license quickly.


5. Can I convert the entire playlist at a time from Sidify YouTube Music Converter?

Yes, Sidify YouTube Music Converter supports batch conversion, so you can add the entire playlist to convert. Besides, you can convert multiple playlists at one go.


6. Can I keep the track number and save the songs in the same order as the original playlist?

Sidify YouTube Music Converter supports keeping the track number for albums. Please choose "Track Number" in the "Output File Name" tab of the Setting window. In addition, if you want to save the converted songs in the same order as the original playlist, please choose "Playlist Index".


7. Can I download YouTube music with free YouTube account?

Yes, you can. Sidify YouTube Music Converter supports to download songs with YouTube Free and YouTube Premium accounts.


8. What to do when Sidify cannot convert music?

[1]Please make sure that you have installed the latest version of the program. Please make sure the songs you want to convert can be played normally on Sidify or on the YouTube Music web player in Chrome.

[2]Please don't connect an external audio device to your computer during the conversion and don't play YouTube Music on other devices at the same time.

9. I'm getting "Conversion Failed ***". What should I do?

[1] Failed 1000:

Cause: Unknown error.

Solution: Please navigate to Sidify's Settings and select YouTube Download mode to try it.


[2] Failed 1005:

Cause: Failed to open encoder.

Solution: Please re-launch Sidify for a try.


[3] Failed 1007:

Cause: Your YouTube Music account is playing audios on another device.

Solution: Please make sure you are selecting "This Computer" to play the audio on YouTube Music.


[4] Failed 1010:

Cause: Conversion failed.

Solution: Please choose another output format or select YouTube Record mode for a try.


[5] Failed 1101:

Cause: Failed to initiate the app.

Solution: Please re-start Sidify for a try. Should the problem persist, please re-install the YouTube Music program from its’ official website to check whether the issue can be fixed.


[6] Failed 1102:

Cause: Failed to play.

Solution: 1) Please make sure you are using the latest version of both Sidify and the YouTube Music app. 2) Please make sure the original audio files can be played normally on YouTube Music. 3) Please check whether your computer is connected to any external speakers, Bluetooth devices, etc. If it is, please disconnect it for a try.


[7] Failed 1106:

Cause: The current PC has no audio output device, and the music cannot normaly play.

Solution: Please check the connection of the audio peripheral device. You can also try to check the music can be played normally in the official app. If everything is alright, try to convert it again.


[8] Failed 1200:

Cause: The actual duration is less than the acquired duration.

Solution: Please try again later.


[9] Failed 1201:

Cause: The conversion is done but the converted file is empty.

Solution: Please try again later.


[10] Failed 1700, 1701 or 1702:

Cause: There’s no search result under YouTube Download mode.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify and select YouTube Record mode for a try.


[11] Failed 1703:

Cause: Downloads require YouTube Music account login to check access.

Solution: Please log into your YouTube Music account so the download can keep going..


[12] Failed 4000, 4001, 4101 or 4102:

Cause: Files do not exist.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify, change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section.


[13] Failed 4002, 4100, 4103, 4104 or 4105:

Cause: No permissions to read or write.

Solution: Please run the program as Administrator and change the output path for a try.


[14] Failed 4003:

Cause: Insufficient disk space.

Solution: Please make sure there’s enough disk space in the output directory.


[15] Failed 4004:

Cause: The file path is too long.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify, change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section.


[16] Failed 4005:

Cause: The path format may contain special characters, trailing space or dot.

Solution: Please change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section for a try. Please provide us with the link if there are special characters in the song title, artist or album.


[17] Failed 4106:

Cause: The file is too large and exceeds the FAT disk format limit.

Solution: Please set the output directory to a non-FAT formatted disk.


[18] Failed 6208:

Cause: Get player timeout.

Solution: Please re-launch Sidify for a try.


10. Why doesn’t the Sidify YouTube Music Converter install on macOS 10.15?

The minimum requirement is macOS 11 or above (including macOS 26 Tahoe). If your Mac is running an older version and no compatible build exists, we recommend upgrading to macOS 11+. Alternatively, you can switch to the Windows version. For paid customers who can’t upgrade, we’re happy to provide a free Windows license—please reach out to our support team.


11. A "nativeBridgeHelper" window popped up asking for my computer password. What should I do?

You can confidently enter your computer password. The "nativeBridgeHelper" prompt is a standard part of the authorization process on ARM-based devices, ensuring the program has the proper permissions to run smoothly. You only need to enter your password once. Rest assured, it stays local, is never stored or shared.


12. I encounter some problems that I can't find in FAQ. How can I get technical support?

Please contact our support team at support@sidify.com and provide us with your macOS, output settings, and log files for analysis.

Tips: How to find the log files? Just find the menu button on the upper left corner and click on File > Show Log File > Logs, and a window which contains the log files would pop up. They are com.sidify.youtubemusicconverter.log and Sidify YouTube Music Converter.log.
