Sidify Music Converter Free is designed for converting Spotify music to MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, AIFF or ALAC format.

2. Is Sidify Music Converter Free currently available to all users?

Sidify Music Converter Free is currently available to all Windows users who own a Windows computer with access to network or WIFI.

3. Will I be charged for Sidify Music Converter Free?

This program is totally free for everyone, but you can get more powerful features to upgrade to the paid version.

4. What are the differences between Sidify Music Converter Free and Pro?

Sidify Music Converter Pro allows you to download music from Spotify with the best output audio quality and keep all important ID3 tags. 5. How to upgrade from Sidify Music Converter Free to the Professional version?

Click the "Up" icon in the upper right corner of the interface and follow the steps to upgrade to the Professional version.

6. I've upgraded the program to the Pro version. Why am I limited to convert three minutes of each song?

The program needs to be registered to access the full version of Sidify Music Converter Professional. Please click the "Key" icon on the upper right of the interface to register the program with your registration e-mail and the license code.

7. I'm getting a Failed error code - Failed 10**, Failed 110*, Failed 120*, Failed 170*, Failed 4***, or Failed 6208. How can I fix it?

[1] Failed 1005:

Cause: Failed to open encoder.

Solution: Please re-launch Sidify for a try.


[2] Failed 1101:

Cause: Failed to initiate the app.

Solution: Please re-start Sidify for a try. Should the problem persist, please re-install the Spotify app from its’ official website to check whether the issue can be fixed.


[3] Failed 1200:

Cause: The actual duration is less than the acquired duration.

Solution: Please try again later.


[4] Failed 1201:

Cause: The conversion is done but the converted file is empty.

Solution: Please try again later.


[5] Failed 1700, 1701 or 1702:

Cause: There’s no search result under YouTube Download mode.

Solution: Please upgrade to the professional version.


[6] Failed 4000, 4001, 4101 or 4102:

Cause: Files do not exist.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify, change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section.


[7] Failed 4002, 4100, 4103, 4104 or 4105:

Cause: No permissions to read or write.

Solution: Please run the program as Administrator and change the output path for a try.


[8] Failed 4003:

Cause: Insufficient disk space.

Solution: Please make sure there’s enough disk space in the output directory.


[9] Failed 4004:

Cause: The file path is too long.

Solution: Please go to the Settings of Sidify, change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section.


[10] Failed 4005:

Cause: The path format may contain special characters, trailing space or dot.

Solution: Please change the output path and select None in the Output Organized section for a try. Please provide us with the link if there are special characters in the song title, artist or album.


[11] Failed 4106:

Cause: The file is too large and exceeds the FAT disk format limit.

Solution: Please set the output directory to a non-FAT formatted disk.


[12] Failed 6208:

Cause: Get player timeout.

Solution: Please re-launch Sidify for a try.


8. How can I contact the support team for further help?

You can contact our support team at support@sidify.com via e-mail for help. Should you encounter any technical problem, please explain it with more details and provide us with the following info:

  • Which Windows OS are you using? Windows 7, 8, 10 or 11? 32 bits or 64 bits?
  • Are you a Spotify Free or Premium user? Are you running the latest version of Spotify?
  • What's the output format you choose?
  • Please send us all the log files for our further analysis. You can find them by going to Sidify, Menu > Open log file > logs.
